Circulation Hock Sleeves

Comes in a pair of 2 sleeves

Targeted hock recovery without compression. Wear them dry for circulation support or wet for sustained cooling after exercise.

Incrediwear Equine Circulation Hock Sleeves are designed specifically around the horse's hock joint, providing non-compressive support for post-workout recovery, stable rest, travel, stiffness, swelling, and rehabilitation routines.

Wear them dry to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and natural thermoregulation around the hock, or thoroughly wet them with water for sustained cooling after training or competition.

Best For:

  • Post-workout hock recovery
  • Hock swelling, stiffness, and joint support
  • Stable rest and overnight recovery
  • Travel and trailering
  • Sustained cooling after exercise
  • Rehabilitation routines under veterinary guidance
The ergonomic stretch design fits around the hock without Velcro, zippers, or rigid pressure points, while an integrated silicone grip helps keep the sleeve in position.

Dry Use: Circulation & Recovery

When worn dry, the semiconductor-infused fabric is activated by body heat, supporting circulation, lymphatic movement, and natural thermoregulation around the hock.

Dry Hock Sleeves are particularly useful after work, during stable rest, overnight, or while traveling when the horse needs ongoing hock support without traditional compression.

Dry Hock Application

Independent ThermoHorse testing of Incrediwear fabric positioned over the hock showed increased thermal and vascular activity during dry use.

After one hour, thermography recorded a +2.9°C thermal difference in the saphenous vein region, with increased vascular activity remaining visible after removal and reaching up to +4.3°C.
These are thermographic measurements of surface thermal and vascular activity; they should not be interpreted as a percentage increase in blood flow.

Wet Use: Sustained Hock Cooling

For cooling, thoroughly wet the Hock Sleeves with water and apply them over the hock.
Leave them in place for approximately 45–60 minutes after training, competition, or whenever targeted hock cooling is required.

Independent ThermoHorse hock testing showed a substantial reduction in surface temperature after wet application. Within 15 minutes, the treated hock showed a surface-temperature reduction of up to 6.5°C from its starting measurement, with cooling remaining clearly evident throughout the 60-minute test period.

This supports the use of wet Hock Sleeves as part of a post-exercise hock cooling and recovery routine.

How Incrediwear Technology Works

Incrediwear fabric contains germanium and carbon semiconductor elements that activate in response to body heat. When worn dry, the technology is designed to support blood flow, lymphatic movement, and thermoregulation without relying on traditional compression.
When thoroughly wet, the fabric enhances heat transfer away from the area, creating sustained cooling around the hock.

How to Apply

Use the Hoof Bag - place the supplied Hoof Bag over the hoof to make application easier and help protect the fabric from shoes, nail heads, and sharp hoof edges.

Roll the Hocks -roll the Hock Sleeve down into a donut shape, gently pull it over the hoof, and roll it up the leg until the shaped section sits correctly around the hock.

Secure the Hocks -Make sure the silicone grip at the top lies flat against the leg. Can be secured with any non-therapeutic stable wrap or with our Incrediwear Equine Circulation Standing Wraps.

For dry use, the sleeves can be worn for extended periods, including overnight, when correctly fitted.
For cooling - thoroughly wet the sleeves with water and leave them in place for approximately 45–60 minutes.

If the sleeves are loose on your horse, secure the top with a non-therapeutic wrap or vet tape. Do not overtighten.

Conditions That May Benefit From Hock Sleeve Use

Circulation: Hock Sleeves may be useful as part of the management or  recovery routine for horses with:
  • Hock arthritis and stiffness
  • Tarsocrural joint inflammation
  • Bog spavin and joint effusion
  • Bone spavin
  • Post-exercise hock swelling
  • Soft-tissue soreness around the hock
  • Stocking up and dependent edema
  • Post-injection or post-shockwave recovery
  • Joint, tendon, or ligament rehabilitation around the hock
For diagnosed injuries or medical conditions, use Incrediwear Equine products under your veterinarian's guidance.

Fit & Size

One size. Sold as a pair of 2 sleeves.

The Hock Sleeves use a stretch-fit ergonomic design intended to fit most horses.
At maximum stretch, the upper opening accommodates an approximate hock circumference of 48–50 cm / 18.9–19.7 in. Because equine anatomy varies considerably, the sleeves may not provide an ideal fit on particularly small or large hocks.

Measure your horse before purchasing.

The integrated silicone grip helps reduce slipping. If additional security is required, a non-therapeutic wrap or vet tape can be placed over the top.

Care

Place in a pillowcase or wash bag.
Machine wash warm or cold up to 40°C / 104°F. Tumble dry low or air dry.
