Incrediwear Equine Circulation Hoof Socks are non-compressive recovery socks designed for the hoof and lower leg, including the coronet, pastern, fetlock, and cannon. They are suitable for post-exercise recovery, stable rest, travel, and support for filled legs, stocking up, and lower-leg swelling. Wear them dry to support circulation and lymphatic flow, or thoroughly wet them with water for sustained cooling after training, competition, or strenuous work.

Dry Use: Circulation & Recovery
When worn dry, the semiconductor-infused fabric is activated by body heat, supporting circulation and natural thermoregulation.
Dry Hoof Socks are particularly useful after exercise, during stable rest, or while traveling when you want ongoing lower-leg support without compression.
Independent forelimb thermography showed changes in vascular and thermal activity while the socks were worn dry, supporting their use as part of a lower-leg recovery routine.
Wet Use: Cooling Without Ice
For cooling, thoroughly wet the Hoof Socks with water and apply them to the lower leg.
The wet fabric helps transfer excess heat away from the limb, creating sustained cooling after training, competition, or strenuous work.
In independent ThermoHorse testing, wet Hoof Socks produced substantial surface-temperature reductions across the forelimb after 15 minutes:
−9.3°C at the coronet
−5.2°C at the fetlock
−6.2°C at the carpus
Cooling remained clearly measurable throughout the 60-minute test period.
How Incrediwear Technology Works
Incrediwear fabric contains germanium and carbon semiconductor elements that activate in response to body heat. The technology is designed to support blood flow and lymphatic movement without traditional compression. This makes the Hoof Socks suitable for longer periods of dry wear while also allowing them to provide cooling when wet.
Separate equine Doppler testing of Incrediwear circulation technology measured increases across all four blood-flow velocity parameters after 20 minutes of application, including an increase of up to 26%.
How to Apply
Use the Hoof Bag - Put the Hoof Bag over the hoof for easier application and to help protect the fabric from shoes, nail heads, and sharp hoof edges.
Roll the Socks - Roll each Hoof Sock into a donut shape and gently pull it over the hoof into position. For dry use, position the sock where support is needed. For cooling, thoroughly wet the sock with water and leave it in place for approximately 45–60 minutes. Use the Hoof Bag to help remove the Hoof socks too, to avoid tearing the fabric.
Secure the Socks - For horses with finer legs, secure the socks with a correctly applied non-therapeutic stable wrap or Incrediwear Equine Circulation Standing Wraps over the top if needed to help keep them in position.

Horses with particularly fine or large legs may require additional securing or may not achieve the ideal fit.

Place in a pillowcase or wash bag.
Machine wash warm or cold up to 40°C / 104°F. Tumble dry low.
Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
